François Barraud

1899-1934 Switzerland

 

Brief Biography-François Barraud was a Swiss artist who was self-taught along with his three brothers who also painted. He moved to Reims in France in 1922 where he married Marie who became the subject for many of his paintings. In 1924, he was tutored in Paris at the Ėcole du Louvre where he took his influences from the old French masters he studied.
