Brief Biography-Józef Brandt from Szczebryrszyn, Poland, was a renowned painter of battle scenes. He studied in Warsaw, Paris and Munich, where he set up his studio. He became a professor of Art Academies in Prague, Berlin and Munich. Szczebryrszyn was one of the most prominent Polish artists of his time. |
