Brief Biography-Federico del Campo was from Lima in Peru. He left for Europe at an early age; although he was Peruvian he became more associated with Italy. When he was in his twenties he studied in Madrid at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. He later moved to Italy where he travelled extensively. He specialized in vedute paintings of Venice, catering for the many foreign visitors. In 1893 he moved to London where he had a flourishing career.
