Brief Biography-Jacopo Chimenti was from Florence where he spent the entirety of his life. He was renowned for his painting of altarpieces but was also a painter of still life; some of his works were commissioned by the Medici family. He was influenced by the works of artists like Andrea del Sarto, Jacopo Pontormo and most of all Santo di Tito.
