Vieira Portuense

Brief Biography-Francisco Vieira, known as Vieira Portuense was from Porto, Portugal. He was a neoclassical painter who trained in Lisbon before travelling through Europe. After his return to Portugal he fell seriously ill and died in Madeira at the young age of 39. Works of his can be seen in the National Museum Soares dos Reis, Porto and National Museum of Ancient Art, Lisbon.
