Johann Wilhelm Schirmer

Brief Biography-Johann Wilhelm Schirmer was from Julich in Germany. He was a student of Frederick Wilhelm Schadow in the Dusseldorf academy where he was later a professor, one of his students was Oswald Achenbach. He was renowned mostly for being one of the foremast landscape painters in Germany.
