Ivan Bogdanov

Brief Biography-Ivan Petrovich Bogdanov studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture from 1878 to 1889. He became a member of the Association of travelling artists in 1895, and his work consisted primarily of Soviet peasant life in a style of impressionism or plein-air. In 1929, Bogdanov was a member of the Moscow Association of Artists, and while teaching, he also painted portraits and landscapes. Ivan Petrovich Bogdanov was born and died in Moscow. |
