Brief Biography-Vincentas Dmachauskas was born into a wealthy family and entered Vilnius University, where he studied art alongside philology. However, he went into exile in Prussia due to his participation in the November Uprising of 1930. He returned to Vilnius in 1937, establishing his school in 1940. His work subjects are varied, but he is noted mainly for his landscapes. |
