Ding Guanpeng 丁观鹏

Brief Biography-Ding Guanpeng was from Beijing in the Qing dynasty. His master was Giuseppe Castiglione, an Italian missionary in China who was an imperial court painter to three Emperors. Ding Guanpeng painted Taoist figures as well as landscapes. Guanpeng’s works and his brother, Guanhe’s pieces are in Nanxun Hall, The National Palace Museum in Taipei. Many collections of his paintings are also in The Imperial Palace of the Qing Dynasty. |
